This website is dedicated to my Special Order Factory Build Lightweight 1983 Porsche
911 Turbo (930). The car is unique, a total one off, that was a special made to order
car for a famous Swiss racing driver (please click the provenance link for full details).
The car is completely original as it left
the factory, bar a few minor enhancements (see below). It comes in the very rare Kiln Red (only available 1982-83), with a
unique sample matched, love it or hate it, olive green full leather interior.

The car is minus the weighty refinements usually found on a Turbo
and weighs in at 1200KG, some 100KG lighter than a standard 930. There's no heavy aircon, no heavy electric seats, and no
heavy electric sunroof. Some would say these omissions devalue the car, whilst others would recognise the benefit in
driving, handling and performance and the rarity. From my personal experience with previous older 911's, I never ever used
the sunroof, once the seats were adjusted I never used the electric adjustment again, and as for the air con, well you just
expect it not to work, so there's no loss there!
Other points to note are it has LSD transmission with a 40%
locking factor and the muffler on the turbo waste gate was omitted at build. As mentioned the car is completely original as
it left the factory bar the following 4 minor enhancements. 8" Fuchs upfront rather than the standard 7's.
A 934 boost gauge replacing the clock in the dash board, with a vdo clock placed in the centre console. A Heigo strut brace
and the rear windscreen wiper has been removed.

The car was featured in the November 2007 edition of Total
911 Magazine (issue 30). The double page advert below appeared in the October 2007 edition (issue 29).
The exceptional photos were taken by Chris Wallbank and the superb write up and test drive was done by John Glynn.
